Project Information

NSW Health undertook an $850 million redevelopment of the Royal North Shore Hospital under a PPP process. Landcom and Health Infrastructure (HI) entered into a PDA with respect to the divestment (non-Health use) lands adjacent to the new RNSH Hospital. The surplus Divestment Land comprises a potential 186,000m2 of GFA.

Aver Involvement

Aver were engaged by Landcom as the Divestment Land Project Manager through the Due Diligence process, assessment of PPP submissions, consultant engagement, design development, stakeholder management and lodgement of a Part 3A Concept Plan Amendment.

With Landcom, Aver lead the Masterplan design, as well as interface and communication with various Government entities including Health Infrastructure (HI), Department of Planning and various Councils (including Willoughby Council). This included the preparation of all meeting agendas, information packs, PCG Reports and Minutes as well as Ministerial briefings.

Aver also managed the feasibility consultant in the preparation of long and short term feasibilities for the Divestment Lands, including the coordination of all relevant inputs from other consultants. This included seeking market advice on the appropriate mix and format of the various commercial, retail and residential uses proposed for the project.

Recently Aver was re-engaged by Health Infrastructure to manage a further amendment to the Concept Plan as HI look to restructure the proposed development.
