All our Project Managers are Green Star accredited and understand the principles and process of building sustainability and the rating systems.

David Riddell – Director

Dave-Riddell  

As founding director of Aver, David Riddell brings his honest, down-to-earth approach to all aspects of the company’s work.

David’s extensive strategic planning expertise and sound commercial management practices have earned him the respect of the construction and event industries. His established relationships with a network of expert consultants and auditors ensure that each project is properly resourced to achieve a quality result for all concerned.

In addition to his extensive experience in both the legislative and practical aspects of the statutory planning process, David also has a considerable knowledge of urban renewal, large-scale subdivision, demolition, remediation, infrastructure and building projects.

His previous roles include Director of Cadence Australia and Operations and Planning Manager (Procurement and Logistics) for the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games. As well as a strong client focus, David is committed to mentoring and developing staff members and colleagues.


Nick Johnston – Associate | Senior Project Manager

With a Property Development Masters and a Building Construction Management degree, Nick has delivered numerous projects across the commercial, sporting, cultural, residential, retail, industrial and hospitality sectors, in development, construction and project management capacities. He is regularly commended by clients for the transparent, collaborative and constructive environments he creates in the projects he delivers.


Andrew McGaw – Associate | Senior Project Manager

A Senior Project Manager with over 10 years experience working across the Residential, Commercial, Retail, Demolition and Hazardous Material Removal sectors of the industry.

His management skills are supported by broad site experience gained working for and with major construction contractors in a Project/Site Engineering capacity.

With a Building and Construction Management Degree, Andrew’s continual experience in this role will further broaden his knowledge of all aspects of the development industry.


Ryan Beelitz – Associate | Senior Project Manager

Ryan is a Senior Project manager with experience in the property and development industry in both NSW and Western Australia particularly in the Government sector.

Ryan has actively managed a variety of projects from master planning and design stages through to delivery. These projects have been across a broad range of disciplines including urban renewal, education and training, civic and residential.

Most recently at Aver, Ryan has utilised his strong project management skills to achieve the successful rezoning of the Parramatta North Urban Transformation site for UrbanGrowth NSW.

Ryan’s industry experience is supported by Masters degrees in both Architecture and Project Management. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) with the Project Management Institute. Ryan has a particular interest in the design and delivery of environmentally and economically responsive buildings, and is a Green Star Design and As-Built Accredited Professional.


Steve Huang – Senior Project Manager

Steve Huang  

Steve is a results driven senior member with over 14 years of industry experience. His experience extends across the health, education, commercial, retail, financial, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

Steve has an impressive track record in managing and delivering large scale, multi-sites programs and has worked on some high profile projects for key clients such as Westpac, Qantas, Transport for NSW and Railcorp and now for City of Parramatta Council.

Steve has qualifications in architecture and construction management with strong understanding in project risk management, procurement, and delivery.


Joe Daly – Senior Project Manager

Joe is a senior consultancy professional, with over 20 years of experience successfully driving large and complex construction projects from concept to completion. 

He offers leading industry expertise across all aspects of development, project and design management in a broad range of sectors including commercial precincts, residential, industrial, health and aged care.

As a strategic communicator and thinker in all areas of development and construction management, Joe is able to clearly articulate project goals and deliverables, identify risks and opportunities and translating them into tangible outcomes. 

Joe brings a number of key strengths and attributes to project teams with an emphasis on managing stakeholder relationships, team leadership, and strategic planning.


Paul Francis – Project Manager

Paul is a Project Manager with a wide range of experience working in project and design management. With the completion of a Building and Construction Management degree at the University of New South Wales, Paul is expanding on his knowledge base and gaining valuable experience in the property industry.

Paul has had exposure to a diverse range of projects across the health, commercial and government sectors, in concept planning, design development and delivery.

Paul is a practical Project Manager who brings high quality technical brief writing and communication skills to each project which make him a valued member of Aver. He maintains excellent relationships with clients and consultants.


Kate Lyons – Project Manager

Kate Lyons  

Kate is a town planner and project manager with over 10 years experience in the property industry, particularly in the government sector. She has had exposure to a range of projects, specialising in social housing and other residential projects from site selection, detailed design, development, construction, and in project management capacities.

She has actively managed a variety of projects from master planning, design stages through to delivery, including the procurement and management of sub consultants and stakeholder engagement. These projects have been across a broad range of disciplines including residential, commercial and industrial.

Kate’s industry experience is supported by a Town Planning degree and a Masters in Politics and Public Policy. Experience in development assessment has provided Kate with a sound base for understanding environmental planning controls and legislation relevant to Avers’ projects.


Mathew Romanous – Project Manager

Mathew Romanous  

Mathew is an experienced Project Manager with an Architectural background, complemented by deep experience in the direct delivery of construction projects.

Mathew has a Masters of Architecture and has delivered projects as an Architect, Builder and client-side Project Manager, across residential, government and commercial sectors. He has developed a versatile skills set, with particular experience navigating the intricate relationships and inner workings of contractors, consultants, and statutory authorities.

Mathew enjoys applying his skills in understanding and interpreting design detailing and construction methodology, whilst delivering to project imperatives of time, cost and quality.


Jessica Kite – Project Manager

Jessica Kite  

Jessica has over 7 years of experience in Planning roles in the areas of strategic, statutory and environmental planning. Jessica has managed and coordinated numerous land use planning and infrastructure-related projects of varying scales and complexities for clients including local, state and federal government, private landowners and developers.

Her experience extends to environmental advice and approvals (Pt 4 & 5), rezoning proposals, urban design, master planning, Defence Estate planning, feasibility studies, value capture, strategic land use analyses and crime prevention through environmental design.


Danielle Rushbrooke – Project Manager

Danielle Rushbrooke  

Danielle brings over 9 years’ experience in the construction industry from previous project management roles and a design and architecture background.

Danielle has managed and coordinated numerous projects across the commercial, government, health and retail sectors in concept planning, design development and delivery.

Danielle is driven by the outcomes that can be achieved through collaboration with stakeholders and consultants to deliver a successful project.


Dion Richards – Project Manager

Dion Richards  

Dion is a Project Manager who joined Aver in 2017. With particular focus in entertainment facilities, facility operation spaces and hospitality fitouts.

Since completing his Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree at the Queensland University of Technology in 2015 Dion has worked on various medium-largescale projects internationally and in Australia.

Previously to working with Aver Dion worked in Asia for high-end hotel and casino operators in various project management roles.


Tom Kovic – Project Manager

Tom Kovic  

Tom has six years of experience in both the client and contractor side of construction and has worked on a variety of projects in both the private and public sectors including high-rise residential, retail, hotels, offices, galleries, aged care and Defence.

Tom completed a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Sydney (2011).


Kieron McIlvin – Assistant Project Manager

Kieron McIlvin  

Kieron is an Assistant Project Manager with a range of experience providing a strong understanding of analytics and management which he applies to all of his projects.

Having completed a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering with Honours at UNSW, Kieron is expanding his knowledge base and gaining valuable project management experience in the construction industry.

Kieron has had exposure to a diverse range of projects across the private, commercial and government sectors, in concept and planning development.


Nadia Moore – Assistant Project Manager

Nadia Moore  

Nadia has had experience on a diverse range of projects across the private, commercial and government sectors, in planning development, budget forecasting and construction monitoring & administration.

She has been predominately working closely with our Senior Project Managers, producing a tender scope, documents, and interviews, and following processes to award. She has acquired sound comprehension in this area.

Nadia graduated a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Structures) Degree with Honours at The University of Sydney.


Alex Lisney – Assistant Project Manager

Alex Lisney  

Alex has exposure to residential construction and services relating to additions, alterations, remedial building works, dilapidation reports and flood studies.
Alex has a passion for architectural construction in both the residential and commercial sector.

Alex previously held a position as a Graduate Engineer after graduating from her degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of NSW.


Kadin Morse – Assistant Project Manager

Kadin Morse  

Kadin is an Assistant Project Manager with experience in urban renewal, structural engineering, property loss consulting and remedial construction. His previous site experience brings practicality to his work. Kadin has worked on both residential and commercial construction projects for private and public clients.

Kadin holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.


Geoffrey Quach – Assistant Project Manager

Geoffrey Quach  

Geoffrey is as an Assistant Project Manager and qualified Civil Engineer with experience in both site supervision and Contract Administration roles.

He has been exposed to a variety of civil infrastructure projects across Sydney, including delivering large scale subdivisions for residential and retirement communities. Geoffrey has worked in both the private and public sectors.

Geoffrey enjoys combining his contractor and client-side skills and experience, and applying this to delivery of a diverse and challenging range of project types.


Michael Carbone – Assistant Project Manager

Michael Carbone  

Michael is an Assistant Project Manager who has completed a Bachelor and Masters of Architecture and has worked for Architectural practices in both Sydney and London. In addition, he has a Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate).

Michael has a broad interest and passion for all aspects of property, design and construction, with project exposure across small to medium scale residential and commercial developments.


Narissa Pedic – Office Manager

Narissa-Pedic  

An experienced Office Manager with over 12 years in the Construction / Project Management Industry.

Narissa, in addition to providing support to all Aver staff, was fundamental in the formation, implementation and ultimate accreditation for ISO 9001-2008. With the involvement of all staff, she continues to improve and audit our Quality Management System.


Melissa Power – Office Assistant

Melissa Power  

Melissa assists Management and the Aver team in the day to day running of our office in Darlinghurst.

In the past nine years Melissa has worked in Administrative roles both in Government and the Property Industry.
